God's Redemption Story (1 Kings - Ezra)Намуна

Rehaboam & Jeroboam - 4/5
God had given most of the kingdom of Israel to Jeroboam because Solomon had sinned. Jeroboam upped the sin when he gave the people false gods to worship and altars for burning incense. God responded quickly with a dire warning—one day King Josiah would burn the priests of these false gods on those very altars. Even in this darkest moment in the history of Israel, God had a plan for one who would clean up the place and restore God’s order.
On a much larger scale, Jesus is the one who cleans up our hearts and restores God’s order in our lives. Are you walking through a dark hour today? Have you walked away from God and chased after your own false gods? Turn to Jesus and allow Him to make you clean today.
