It's Giving...Idol.Намуна

DAY 2: SELF, PHYSIQUE, PHYSICAL APPEARANCE.
This one is pretty clear-cut. Caring about personal hygiene, physical fitness, and general appearance is not a sin. We are supposed to take care of ourselves. God wants us to.
However, idolatry sets in when we start to place more value on our own outward appearance, vanity, and desire for attention from others than on spending time with God.
We need to guard our hearts. Let's take a moment to ask God to help us see our true intentions when it comes to our outward appearance.

About this Plan

Idolatry isn’t always “in your face.” It’s actually a very subtle thing, and we’re ALL guilty. In this 10-day plan, let's define idolatry, identify idols in our own lives, and get helpful tips on how to avoid "the drift" toward idolatry, known and unknown. This plan will inspire and reveal truth about ways we allow people, places, things, and even world ideologies to take God's role in our lives.
