The definition of 'Advent' is the arrival of an important person, thing, or event. Through Christmas, we celebrate the arrival of Jesus. Advent is a time to prepare our hearts to remember his life and love for each one of us. It's also a time for us to express our love to others. So, let's begin this season by doing two things. First, let's consistently pause and remember the true meaning of Christmas. Secondly, let's live with the purpose of loving the world in practical ways.
Prayer
Jesus, we want to experience the real meaning of Christmas. May we look to you in everything we do. Would the way we live our lives reflect the transformation and work that you've done in our hearts. And would others see you when they meet us.
Action
Write down and discuss your intentions to keep Christ at the center of Christmas.
