21 Day Favor FastНамуна

DAY 1: HUMILITY
Prayer Topic: Pray for humility in your heart and the willingness to serve others selflessly.
Devotional: Humility is a foundational virtue in the life of a Christian. It's the very essence of Christ's nature. In Philippians 2:5-8 (NIV), we read, "In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross!"
Christ's humility is our model. He willingly emptied Himself of divine glory to serve humanity. As we begin this fast, let's pray for humility in our hearts. Let's ask for the grace to serve others selflessly, just as Jesus served.
Quote: "Humility is not thinking less of yourself; it's thinking of yourself less." – C.S. Lewis
Reflection 1: Reflect on moments when pride or self-centeredness hindered your relationships or actions. How can cultivating humility improve these areas?
Reflection 2: Consider people in your life whom you admire for their humility. What qualities do they possess that you can emulate during this fast?
