Advent Намуна

Hope
This advent is a little different from what you’re usually expecting. In this advent, we have three formats:
- Look Back - Reflect on your day, and pray and worship to connect and seek God.
- Look Up - Spend time in scripture and answer questions to grow our faith.
- Look Forward - to living and sharing the Gospel about Jesus in our lives. And learn to listen to Jesus’s commands.
Look Back
Take a moment to take a deep breath.
Before diving into this allow yourself and your heart to be in the presence of God.
Sit in silence and acknowledge that God (His Spirit) is present with you.
Take a moment to give your week and worries to him.
Take a moment to pray.
Look Up
Read through this passage (Do it twice):
"The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness, a light has dawned. For to us, a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." - Isaiah 9:2,6
Questions for personal reflection:
- What did you like most about this passage?
- What was hard or challenging about this passage?
- How do you see God in this passage?
- How do you see people in this passage?
Look Forward
Now take a moment to breathe and pause. To seek the Father and answer the question of how God is calling you to live out this passage and be obedient to Him. And then pray.

About this Plan

Advent is a time to prepare our hearts, minds, and souls for the coming of our Lord. It’s also a time to celebrate and walk deeply with the Lord as we reflect on the significance of the greatest gift ever given, Jesus.
