Advent Guide: The Wonder of ChristmasНамуна

The Witness of Love
Christmas is a season of joy and celebration, a time when we celebrate the Birth of Jesus Christ, the ultimate embodiment of God's Love for humanity. But as we exchange gifts and gather with loved ones, let's remember the essence of this season lies in the love we share with one another.
In John 13:35, Jesus provides a profound revelation about what it means to be His disciples. This verse reminds us that our love for each other is a powerful testimony of our faith in Christ.
The Love Jesus speaks of is a way of life. It's a Love that transcends differences, forgives, and serves selflessly. Just as Jesus came into the world to demonstrate God's Love, we are called to reflect His Love in our interactions with others.
Christmas is a time when we have a unique opportunity to demonstrate this Love. This Love should shine so brightly through us that it becomes a beacon of hope for those around us.
When we love one another as Christ loved us, we become living testimonies of His Grace. It's through our acts of love that people see the Transformative Power of the Gospel in action.
This Christmas, let us embrace the Call to love one another unconditionally. In a world filled with division and discord, may our love be a testimony that points people to the Prince of Peace. As we celebrate the Birth of our Savior, let us also recommit ourselves to living as His disciples, known by our love for one another and sharing the message of His Love with the world.
Stephanie and her husband Buck are current foster parents with Buckner. They have been fostering for 12 years (and counting). They have three children, two whom have been adopted, and have fostered several children in their tenure with Buckner.
Stephanie's favorite thing about the Christmas season is a tradition that began with her parents and continues today. Each child selects a new ornament each year. Once they chop down their tree, the family decorates together.
