30 Days Defeating the Arch-Enemy of Our Finances (Mammon)Намуна

THE TEMPTATION TO CONTROL
Many people use money to constantly control others. Egotism, pride, and mercilessness are common in the very wealthy. Many families live like slaves of those in financial power. And sadly, that often goes on for generations. Money can blind and control everyone around it. Since money buys almost everything and since it is one of the highest-held values in our fallen world, using money to manipulate others for one’s own benefit has become commonplace. To manipulate is to control, to oppress, to get your own way at the expense of others. We often see this played out in companies, families, politics, religions, etc.
The world has become corrupt, and money has become the way to power. Many people have given themselves over to it and in so doing have destroyed their identity and their values. Mammon has been the one to bring punishment on many nations because of vested interests or the misuse of money. May money never control us or turn us into controlling people. Everywhere that money is misused is an environment that attracts oppression and sets the stage for Satan to act, so flee from such environments! Remember that money is to be used for provision, profit, and service. Anyone who uses money to control others becomes Mammon's partner.
Remember: We should not use money to control others. What I have and will have is given to me to serve and bless others.
