God Speaks Potential. Hope Challenge, Day 2.

Did you know that God speaks promises right in the middle of your problems? In the book of Genesis, we find a couple who desperately wanted to have a child but could not. So they tried to get ahead of God, but they were still without the promised child. In Genesis 17:5, God gives this promise to Abram:

No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for I have made you a father of many nations (Genesis 17:5, NIV).

God promised Abram that he would be the father of many nations when he was only the father of one child…and not the one God had promised. God spoke potential when Abram was facing his problem. God spoke destiny when Abram was experiencing disappointment.

Powerful Principle: Before things are manifested in the physical, they are released in the spiritual through faith and prayer. Remember, believing is seeing. Faith comes before sight.
