God's Redemption Story (Exodus - Joshua)Намуна

Have you ever seen an action movie that ends with a great rescue? The villain’s lair explodes in the background as the dirty hero and bedraggled victim walk victoriously toward the camera. Then the credits roll. It’s dramatic, but what next? Do they live happily ever after? We like to think so, but maybe they spend many years in therapy trying to work through their nightmares.
When God saved the Israelites from Egypt, his plan was much more complete than blowing up the bad guy and walking away. He set aside rich, healthy land to sustain them and gave them guidelines for living in the right relationship with him. God’s plan for them was to bless and multiply them. God has a similar plan for us if we also choose to live in the right relationship with him.
