Jesus, you spent much of your time on earth teaching. Most will acknowledge you as a great teacher even if they do not accept you as Lord. How can one acknowledge your great teaching and not accept what you say as truth? I want to be a student in your house, learning from you, following your instructions, and finding you to be Lord of my life and not just a teacher. May I sit at your feet and soak in all you have to say. When my students need guidance, help me lead them to you. Let your Word come alive to them and bring them great joy and peace. Lead them on paths that are straight. Make them humble learners of your perfect will.
