Day 11: Provision
Prayer brings about provision.
As we navigate through life's challenges and uncertainties, it is easy to become anxious about our provisions and needs. However, as believers, we can take comfort in knowing that our Heavenly Father has promised to provide for all our needs according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
But sometimes, we may not even know what our needs are or how to express them to God. In such moments, we can turn to the Holy Spirit who intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:26-27). The Spirit helps us to pray according to God's will, even when we don't know what to ask for.
So, let us not be anxious or worried about our provisions. Instead, let us bring our needs and requests to God in prayer, trusting that He will provide for us in His perfect timing and according to His perfect will. And let us rely on the Holy Spirit to help us pray when we don't know what to say. May we always remember that our God is a faithful provider who cares for us deeply.
Prayer:
Lord, I trust in your provision and ask that you meet all my needs according to your glorious riches in Christ Jesus. Help me to be content with what I have and to use my resources to glorify you and bless others. Give me a grateful heart and a generous spirit. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
Journal Prompt:
What unmet need(s) am I trusting God to meet right now? How can I strengthen my faith while I wait?
