Jesus helps us
Secondly, Jesus is in heaven seated at the right hand of God to help us. He is not inactive, but He is actively helping us when we are serving God: “After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, He was taken up into heaven and He sat at the right hand of God. Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed His word by the signs that accompanied it” (Mark 16:19-20). Acts 4 offers us an example of Jesus’ help. By the power of His name, a crippled man was healed, convincing many of the truth of the Gospel message.
You probably already feel encouraged when a friend is helping you with a difficult task. This verse tells you Jesus is helping you!
Why did Jesus go to heaven? So that He could be really close to the Father to help you with God’s power. What tremendous good news that is!

About this Plan
After Jesus rose from the dead, He ascended into heaven. He is seated at the right hand of God until He will return to the earth to judge the living and the dead.
