There’s nothing quite like the feeling of “home.” Of finding that special place where you feel absolute peace and security. A place where you can lay back, breathe deep, and feel completely and utterly safe. For some of us, that may be a physical place. For others, it could be a book you come back to repeatedly, a song that seems to make the rest of the world melt away as you listen, or it could even be a specific person who gives comfort when you need it.
Home could even be seen not as any sort of physical space but as a state of mind. Something that we could all be working towards, even if we may not be able to find it here on Earth. But when we know God as our Father, we know we have an eternal home. A place that has been specially prepared for us, just waiting for when we arrive. A home that we will never have to leave. And even better, there is room for everyone who follows Jesus! What is one thing that you can do this week to remind yourself that you have an eternal home? Even if you feel as though you don’t have a place in this world, God has specifically created a space for you.

About this Plan

Getting to know someone takes time. It’s the same with our relationship with God. God doesn’t just want us to know facts about Him or only speak to Him through prayers sporadically said throughout our lives. God wants us to have a relationship with Him based on us knowing who He is. We will walk together through Scriptures that are filled with descriptions of God’s attributes and promises to help us know Him more.
