Peace Be With You
The very first words Jesus says to His disciples after the resurrection are, “Peace be with you.”
Peace—the one thing every human needs.
We sing about it, we talk about it, we protest for it… we even fight for it. We need peace in the world, and we need peace in our homes. We need peace in our very own minds and souls. The world is desperate for peace.
And, thousands of years ago, Jesus of Nazareth said these words, “Peace be with you.” The word used here means, wholeness…to join or tie together—our greatest need met. Because of what Jesus had done on that cross, the hostility between God and all people—dealt with!
And He says to you today, “Peace be with you.”
Will you take this gift?
Always remember, there's hope with God.
