What motivates you in how you live your life? Many of us spend more time wondering what others think about our lives and choices than paying attention to how we feel. When we do this, we risk allowing others too much influence over what we do or say. But what if we stopped thinking so much about what others thought of us? Think of all of the headspace and time we’d get back! Freedom comes when you stop wondering how others see you and instead use that energy to care for others. This week, take an interest in someone else. Not because of how it makes you look but out of genuine care for them. What can you do to communicate to them that their interests and needs matter to you? Then do it.
