Setting Boundaries for Toxic PeopleНамуна

Scripture also gives us an example of Hagar. When Hagar became pregnant, she treated Sarah with contempt. When she fled and was in the wilderness, an angel appeared and told her to return to her mistress and submit to her authority. Sarah was no longer going to tolerate Hagar’s bad attitude.
If you are a parent or a spouse and you are allowing all those negative things to happen around you because you are afraid to set up boundaries, you will pay a high price. I am not referring to divorce, I am talking about creating healthy boundaries. It will cost you a lot if you do not distance yourself from toxic people, not because of the difficult people, but because you do not have discipline in your life.
Do not be afraid of establishing healthy boundaries. Do not allow satan to play tricks on your mind, telling you that you don't need to. Fight your fears and insecurities, and allow the Holy Spirit to guide you to establish them where they are needed. It is the only way to grow in a healthy manner.
Let's Pray:
It is difficult to create distance between people who have been a part of my life for so long. But God, their company is not healthy, they only make me suffer. Lord, help me to walk away and stay away from them. May I find strength, peace, and comfort in You, God, in Jesus’ name, amen.
