Start the PartyНамуна

Almost everyone dreads running “the mile” at school. I’m included in this! It’s the one day when you have to race your classmates for an excruciating mile. It just isn’t my favorite day. Now imagine after running that mile, you decided on your own to keep going and run two miles! While it might not be the most fun experience, it’s definitely going above and beyond what you were asked to do in the first place!
When it comes to serving others, that’s what Jesus calls us to do: to go above and beyond! To not just do what we have to do but to do something we don’t have to do as a way to serve or help someone else. When we choose to serve someone else by doing that, other people can see God at work in us.
So my challenge for you today is to look for a way to go above and beyond what you are asked to do. Whether at home, at school, or on your team, find a way to go the extra mile to serve someone else!
