Have you ever failed at something? When I was in middle school, I got lazy, and my grades were really bad. I felt like I failed and especially like I let my parents down. They helped me so much to try and thrive in school. They stayed up late to help me with my homework, created a distraction-free environment, and even helped me get a tutor. Through all of that, I still failed. It was difficult for me to feel loved by anyone.
But here’s the thing: Although I felt like I could not be loved because of my failures, there’s nothing that could happen that could separate us from God’s love! We know this because of what a guy named Paul recorded for us in the Bible. He said there is nothing that could ever separate us from God’s love. How comforting is that?!
Today, remember that God loves you no matter what you have done. Who is one person in your life who could use this reminder today, too? Send them a DM or text as a way to encourage them today.
