Lent Devotional: OpenНамуна

Day four – ‘A transformation prayer’
Every Saturday, we will focus purely on prayer. Take your time with this. Allow yourself space to tune in to how God might be leading you to respond.
Write down three situations where you want to see change take place on a piece of paper, in a notebook, in this booklet, or on your phone. These might be situations where you have felt stuck for some time or global circumstances where change seems impossible.
Once you have written them down, read through them, place your hand over them, then thank God that change is possible. Ask God what he is already doing in these situations and how he might want you to participate. Be silent for a few seconds. Release the burden to God. Repeat this as many times as you like. You might want to do this together with a friend, family member, or group that you trust.

About this Plan

Lent is a time of beautiful re-focusing. A time to pay closer attention to the life that lives beyond busyness. To create sacred rhythms that move our feet down paths of goodness. Lent is a sanctuary in time, a seven-week island in a stormy sea. It is a specific, intentional period in which we can reorientate ourselves. It is a time to be drawn further into God's heart.
