Wait, Watch, Worship: A Lent DevotionalНамуна

Worth (from lost to loved)
Wednesday – 25 days before Easter
John 4:4-26
Jesus was a strategic teacher. He often used ordinary, everyday things to illustrate deep truth. While sitting beside a well, he revealed truth by using water imagery. It was both simple and profound. The woman, like so many people Jesus encountered, failed to grasp his message right away. She missed the metaphor. She claimed to already understand important facts and traditions. But in the end, she heard, understood, and believed truth. As you read the story today, consider what part of Jesus’ message you might have missed in the past and what new things you can learn from his teaching about living water.

About this Plan

From Ash Wednesday through Easter Sunday, this devotional plan reflects on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, tracing the themes such as wait, wonder, watch, and worship. Each week focuses on a specific Biblical story (Sunday-Friday) and ends with a Psalm (Saturday). Holy Week traces the final scenes and events of Jesus' life, crucifixion, and resurrection.
