Sex

Sex, in God’s original design, was intended to be a sacred and holy union between a man and a woman that have been joined together in marriage. Unfortunately, sin has polluted God’s unique model, and in our world, sex is becoming nothing more than a meaningless, immoral, and perverse activity. In addition, viewing pornography, having sex with multiple partners, and debauchery are becoming acceptable to many individuals. Little do you know, these activities can trap your soul in conduct that is unacceptable to the Lord!

Choosing sex outside God’s original design can leave you with many unnecessary hardships in life. For example, unplanned pregnancies; and the difficult decisions that may follow, feeling ashamed and embarrassed once you realize you’ve sinned against God and YOURSELF, or worst receiving a life-threatening disease!

The Apostle Paul challenges us to ask ourselves: what is it to gain by deviating from God’s original design with sex? He also reminds us that our bodies are temples for God’s spirit, redeemed by the Lord to be holy and created to honor Him!

Is your desire for momentary satisfaction while having sex outside God’s design worth defiling your body and dishonoring the Lord?
