Year of the Bible: Part Twelve of TwelveНамуна

Wow, What a Revelation!
Today's chapter brings us right into God's throne room. As you read this chapter, pay attention to the details of its beauty: the red of Jasper and Sardius, the green of emeralds, and the rainbow of colors filling the room. The light of seven lamps illuminates this throne room. Picture the overwhelming beauty in your mind's eye. And in the center of it all: Jesus!
The proper response to the glory of Jesus is declared by both the four living creatures of God and the twenty-four elders: "Holy, Holy, Holy" and "Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power." What a great vision!
Questions: When considering how the risen Jesus is presented, do you think in human terms? Or, do you recognize the magnificent greatness of the King of Kings—seated on a throne and receiving songs of praise and adoration? What influences your thoughts on this subject?
Challenge: Ask the Holy Spirit to grant you the revelation of Jesus that Paul prays for us to receive in Ephesians 1. Seek to see Jesus as He is now, not as the art and entertainment depict Him. Seek the revelation of His majesty and glory. You, too, may find yourself falling before Him and exclaiming, "Holy, Holy, Holy!"
