Purpose Driven Life

There is absolutely nothing that God created that has no purpose or meaning. We may not have discovered the true purpose of a thing or it may not be of use to us in our daily lives. But that does not mean that it is a waste or purposeless. Similarly, God created us all, and everyone has a purpose to fulfil here on earth.
He is intentional when He says “I formed you in your mother’s womb, and I knew you even before you were born.” How wonderful it is, to know that we are not just a by-product of our parents - intentionally or randomly! The child born in the President’s palace and the illegitimate child found in the garbage dump, both have a very specific purpose, which God wants to fulfill in their lives – His ‘Life Plan A’. And His plans are always good! (Jeremiah 29:11)
If He has a plan for our lives, then He also equips us and empowers us to fulfill it. We are also responsible to walk in it and bring it to pass. God tells Jeremiah that He has a specific plan and assignment for his life, which is to be ‘a prophet to the nations’. He is not a wandering ‘nobody’. God places a demand on Jeremiah’s calling as a prophet to start moving accordingly. Jesus also said that He only does that which He sees His Father in Heaven do (John 5:19).
God has a plan for you too. All you need to do is tap into His resources and bring His plan to fruition.

Father God, I thank You that today is a good day to live, and to bring to pass all You have planned for me - Your good plans. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
