Day 24: I am an heir

We do not have to worry about building an inheritance or a legacy here on earth. Even if no one on earth remembers our name after we are gone, we know that we have an everlasting inheritance that Jesus Himself has invited us to share with Him. He is fully glorified in heaven and is preparing a place we can inherit if we believe in Him.

Let's Pray

Thank You, God, that You have a great inheritance for me. Thank You that as a daughter or son, I can inherit what Christ inherited: eternal life in peace with You and Your favour now. I am sorry for the times that I haven’t wanted to be an heir and haven’t wanted to suffer with Christ. Please forgive me and teach me to renew my mind: I am a joint-heir with Christ because I am Your child. Help me live with an eternal lens, help me to understand that what I suffer here on earth is to Your glory in heaven. Amen.
