Identity in Christ: A 40 Day JourneyНамуна

Part 2: Foundational Truths
Day 17: I have direct access to the throne room of heaven
Prayers can sometimes feel like they are bouncing off a wooden ceiling. We can pray and feel like our words are falling flat to the floor, dry and meaningless. Because we can’t see God or don’t experience Him with our senses, it can be difficult to know that our prayers are reaching Him. The Bible speaks of a wonderful truth that we are to believe, that our prayers are sure to reach His ears!
Let's Pray
Thank You, God, that I have direct access to You! Thank You for wanting to be so close to me always. Thank You for desiring to hear my prayers rise like incense to You. I repent for believing the Enemy’s lies that my access to You was blocked or believing the feeling inside of me that my prayers were unheard and useless. Please forgive me. I choose today instead to believe that I have access to You. You hear my prayers, not because of what they are but because it is ‘through Him’ – through Jesus, my Mediator. Amen.
About this Plan

Knowing our identity in Christ - knowing who He says we are to Him - is one of the most powerful ways to enable ourselves to draw closer to God. Knowing our true identity is part of our roadmap to sanctification. We realise how free we truly are and how much He wants to lavish His love on us and fill our lives with purpose and meaning.
