My Lord Knows the WayНамуна

Do you remember how it felt when you recovered something you once lost? You searched and searched but could not find it anywhere. You might have taken some time off and stopped looking, only to resume your search at a different time.
What if the item was there all along, but you missed it? Imagine if this was a person who needed to be saved.
When Jesus sat down with the tax collectors, He treated them with respect. His actions made them feel like ordinary people. He was reaching the heart of sinners through kindness. If He saw value in one person, He also saw value in the next.
“Salt is good, but if salt has lost its taste, how shall its saltiness be restored?” (Luke 14:34)
We are better equipped to inspire a sinner when our salt has flavor. Jesus reveals the perfect model for restoring sinners by His actions and asserting: “He who has ears to hear, let him hear” (Luke 15:35). As He drew sinners near Him, they were absorbing His every word.
Have you or someone you know lost their way? Be still and seek God. Ask Him to be your compass or show your loved one the way to restoration. Take the time to intercede for their salvation.
