Year of the Bible: Part Four of Twelve Намуна

God is Faithful to the Eastern Tribes.
The Eastern tribes of Israel, who desired to settle in the land on the east side of the Jordan river, were the tribe of Reuben, the tribe of Gad, and half of the tribe of Manasseh.
They fulfilled their commitment to their brothers by helping them settle in the promised land. Now, they were permitted to return to their lands and families to settle in their place.
God always looks for partnership with human beings. Because the eastern tribes supported the work of God among their brothers, God blessed them and established them in their land.
Question: Delayed gratification produces self-control and steadfastness in us. Where are you currently waiting for a promise to be fulfilled in your life? How long have you been waiting? What is God doing in your heart in this waiting period?
Prayer Focus: God knows it is difficult for you to wait because your future vision is limited to your imagination. While you wait, implement this practice. Daily, or even hourly, place your desires in God's hands. Verbally release them to Him and submit to His perfect timing.
