Year of the Bible: Part One of TwelveНамуна

Seth to Replace Abel.
Stop here and read today's scriptures.
God gave Seth to Eve as a replacement for Abel. In Unlocking the Bible, David Pawson tells us that this third brother, Seth, reestablishes a line of descendants from Adam and Eve, and this "new godly line" of Seth once again began the practice of calling on the name of the Lord."
Redemption is always on the heart of God. As early as Seth is born, we see that God wants to redeem humanity. Abel is dead, Cain is wicked, yet, God gives another chance for humans to start again.
The period between the end of one thing and the beginning of another can be great times of growth and trust. A time when God invites us not toward a solution but Himself.
Question: What has died in your life that God wants to redeem?
Prayer Focus: Ask God for endurance as you pursue Him in the midst of the unknown.
