Pastor How to Read LukeНамуна

Please read the Gospel of Luke 2:32-35.
From verses 29-32, Simeon was praising God.
Then from verses 34-35, he turned to Mary and started prophesying.
Praise leads to Prophecy.
If you wonder how to prophesy…
If you want to prophesy over your children, ministry, business…
Start by Praising God.
Our spirit filled with Praise will flow into Prophecy.
Verse 34 – He has been sent as a sign from God, but many will oppose him. 35 As a result, the deepest thoughts of many hearts will be revealed.
Among the many purposes of Christ, one was to reveal the deepest thoughts of many hearts.
Have you noticed that every time we bring up Jesus Christ in conversations, it always provokes very extreme reactions?
Some love Him.
Some hate Him.
Some don’t want to have anything to do with Him.
One thing for sure, you rarely get a neutral or mild response.
Because Jesus has been sent as a sign from God. People are confronted.
The revealing of Christ will reveal our own hearts.
Our acceptance or rejection of Christ will reveal who we are.
This same verse in the Message version says: But the rejection will force honesty, as God reveals who they really are.
For those of you who have been rejected by your friends/family when you share Christ, don’t be discouraged.
