Today’s verse is one of my favorite promises in the Bible. It reminds us God wants to be close to us. He’s not interested in just a long-distance relationship. He wants to be near you. Notice how God invites us to take that step of closeness with Him. Some of the ways we “come close to God” are by reading the Bible, spending time in worship and prayer.

Ask them the question and have them read the confession out loud. If they are old enough, they can read it, but they can help them understand the verse and how it applies to their lives.
