If you need to receive something or need an increase in an area of your life, don’t focus on getting or keeping what you have; focus on giving. We must keep giving. It’s similar to farming. If you want more corn, you need to give or plant corn into the ground. If you don’t plant, you won’t have anything to harvest. Today’s verse reminds us as well that God always outdoes your generosity. When you give, He’ll bring it back into your life but with extra and overflowing.
