7. Buyer’s Remorse
Judas Iscariot, one of the original 12 apostles of Jesus, was a greedy thief. Judas betrayed Jesus for 30 pieces of silver paid to him by the chief priests. According to all four gospels, Judas used a customary greeting to identify Jesus to those who arrested him.
Once he realized the implication of his actions, Judas was seized with remorse. He returned the silver and then committed suicide.
Judas’s betrayal fulfilled the prophecy. The chief priests also unwittingly fulfilled prophecy. Within 70 years, nothing remained of the Temple or Jerusalem.
Let’s be people of God who remain loyal to Jesus.
