The Power of Hope: 7 Days to Hoping in the LordНамуна

The Hope of Answered Prayer | Rhoda
Peter had had quite the night. Imprisoned, chained to two soldiers with two others standing guard at the door, Peter had been awakened by an angel who proceeded to lead him out of the prison.
At the same time, the church had gathered and asked God to have mercy on their imprisoned leader. Despite their earnest prayers, Peter’s morning execution seemed inevitable.
A knock on the door interrupted their prayers. Recognizing Peter’s voice when she went to answer it, Rhoda immediately ran to tell the people that God had delivered Peter. (When the knocking continued, they did go back to answer the door.)
Prayer is powerful! God hears and answers all our prayers— a truth that gives us hope. Just as the Lord answered prayers for Peter’s life to be spared, He will answer your prayers with yes, no, or “Wait,” whichever answer is best for you.
