Biblical Success - Running in Galatians 2:20Намуна

In our organization I am known as “quiet time Buck” because of my daily commitment to spending the first hour of every day with the Lord in reading His Word, quiet thought, and journaling insights, questions, and impressions. I am no doubt pretty close to a fanatic enthusiast and advocate for sure but there is a further part of the picture that most don’t know. I think it might be helpful to explain.
Over many years of advocacy and working with men and women who have adopted the practice of what is today called “The Most Important Hour”, I have often been asked for the “secret” to taking the fruit of that first hour into and throughout our day. And that is a great question for our discussion in this study.
First, let’s talk about the key to the power and value of the practice of focused quiet time and journaling. It is as Brother Lawrence so beautifully wrote about in his book “Practicing The Presence of Christ” simply that: practicing or living in the reality of Jesus’ promise “I will never leave you or forsake you.”
Of course we know that “never” is a really big word but "never" means never just as "all" means all. "Never" isn’t “sometimes" or even “when we are aware of it". It means never. Jesus' promise to never leave us or forsake us is a promise that is true always, at all times, and in all circumstances. How can it be that Jesus is always with us and we can be so unaware that He is? In what way is He “with” us?
For today, let’s read some scripture and think about what it means to be “one spirit” with Christ.

About this Plan

In this plan we will discuss the implication and application of Galatians 2:20 in taking our daily "quiet time" into our life experience by diving into: "It is no longer I who live but Christ who lives in me" and related scripture.
