Gentleness: The Fruit of the Spirit a 7-Day Bible-Reading Plan by Kenneth Copeland MinistriesНамуна

Gentleness Wins the Fight
Who doesn’t like winning a fight?
But strategy is the way to win. Most people think erupting with anger, making great debate points, or pointing out another’s flaws is the way you win. But it isn’t. That’s the lie of the enemy.
If you think about it, people fighting over who gets to be the boss is behind most of the strife in the world. That’s also what’s behind most marriage problems and church splits. It’s what triggers wars between nations. Time and again, fights erupt because people on both sides are vying for control.
Here’s how you win.
Respond to every situation with the fruit of gentleness.
That’s right. It may not seem like it initially, but the force of gentleness will keep you out of such fights in the first place. It will save your marriage and help prevent that split in your church. It will help bring peace to an entire nation.
When you get angry, go to God about it. He’s the One who can take care of it for you. If you respond in anger to other people, they’ll get angry in return, and the fight will be on. But if you’ll look to God, He can enable you to come out a winner without you ever having to fight.
