Faith Instead of Fear in The PandemicНамуна

The Power of Prayer
When surrounded by fear, we must remember to pray! It’s so easy to forget this crucial part in our relationship with Jesus.
When we are caught up in trials, obstacles and difficult situations, we tend to try and battle them ourselves. But we have Jesus on our side to help us. Prayer plays a key part in our faith and can ease the fear! In today’s devotional, I want to encourage you to pray against the fear.
LIFE APPLICATION QUESTIONS
- What’s your usual approach to prayer? To pray in times of trouble … or to pray through good times and bad?
- Why do you think that is?
- How do you react – in the face of this maelstrom that is the coronavirus, in the face of the harm that may come to you and your loved ones – to the notion that the only sort of prayer the Bible teaches about is the sort that has powerful results?
- Take a moment to open your Bible and read Hebrews 4:14–16. What is God saying to you? Why should you believe Him?
- Set some time aside – quiet and unhurried time – to pray to God; to come boldly before the throne of grace, to tarry in His Presence, to allow Him to fill you with His confidence and His love.
