When times are rough in this world - which they will be if you are truly seeking to live for God - believers are to stand on the knowledge that God is real and active in our lives. When we struggle with trying to find peace and comfort in this world, will we stand firm on what we know? This world is not our home, so we will never experience true peace and comfort within it. Our peace can only be found in the One true God, therefore our life will never be more pleasing until we are with Him for eternity. When it seems like confusion and chaos are threatening every circumstance in your life, will you stand on what you know about God? When it seems like you are fighting battles all alone, will you stand on what you know about His love for you? Father God, help me to be steady, grounded, with strong roots in You and Your Word. Help me to stand on what I know to be true and not be moved. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
