Getting Direction

If we’re going to work and lead with Jesus, we need to be able to recognize his voice, to hear what he wants us to do. We may need direction for the group we lead, for our business or for our family. Or we may need to know if we should accept a particular job offer. In any case, understanding where Jesus is leading us and then aligning our lives and leadership with that direction is essential to leading for the life of the world.

In what ways might God be speaking to you? Through friends, the Scriptures, a sermon, a circumstance, a door closing, an opportunity opening, a desire in your heart, a dream, a vision? He speaks in all sorts of ways. We often listen for only one or two.
