When and where?

What time is it now?

Is it your usual time for reading the Bible and using your YouVersion Bible reading plan?

Read Mark, chapter 1, verses 35 to 39 if you haven’t already done so.

When did Jesus go out?

• Very early in the morning
• Midday
• After an evening meal

Where did he go?

• Jewish meeting place (synagogue)
• Town
• Lonely place

Why did Jesus go?

• To meet his friends
• To have breakfast
• To pray

If Jesus, God’s Son, needed to pray, then it must be really important that we pray. Jesus knew he couldn’t do God’s work without staying close to him.

How many times a day do you send a text or message your friends? 

How many times a day to you pray?

Are you in a quiet place now – or is lots going on?

Do you need to change anything to be able to talk with God, as Jesus did?

Pray. Talk with God about anything.
