Journey WitnessesНамуна

This psalm, by an unnamed writer, is a cry for help. It is a cry for help, yet resounding in confidence in God. The psalmist has trusted God for many years and begins his poem expressing that confidence. We are not certain what kind of attack he was under, but he required deliverance and was insistent on waiting for the hand of God to intervene.
The writer details the mighty acts of God. It is the promises and faithfulness of God that not only provide him the strength to wait, but a message to pass down from generation to generation. This psalm not only declares God’s great power to deliver and a man’s cry for that help, but an incredible testimony of a man who wants God’s renown to be known to generations to come.
