The Call

We’re all called to a degree. We’re called to live holy lives, make disciples, love God and love people. But have you ever felt like God has more for you? Like there’s something He wants to do through you, maybe some kind of ministry? Let me encourage you to keep listening, like Samuel. Some people are called into full time ministry and God just might be calling you! Are you listening? Has He already called you and you just need to stop running and tell someone? Don’t be intimidated! Don’t overcomplicate it!  God sometimes shows us step 30 but puts us on step 3. All we have to do is be obedient. 

I once heard it said that “YOU either have a call or the call HAS you!” The difference is the depth of our surrender. Our obedience establishes His lordship and reign in our lives. The challenge is simply to listen and follow. Don’t worry about what kind of ministry you’ll have, worry about being surrendered enough that you’ll do whatever He calls you to. Are you listening?
