Fear

Every human being longs to be accepted. Every human being longs to live a life without filters, without having to check their worth. But unfortunately, not everyone has the joy of living as such. There are many who suffer in public; while others suffer in silence behind the loneliness that rejection or being discarded brings.  We can overcome rejection by acknowledging our worth in Christ.  Let's dive in.

Overcoming Rejection

Whether you suffer from anxiety yourself or live alongside someone who struggles, you know the challenges. Management of our anxiety sometimes requires help outside ourselves and always requires the intervention of a loving and all-knowing God. Jesus himself comes to us as a companion in anxiety, keeping company with us in everything that’s hard as we wait for shades of light to break through.

Fear is NOT your friend.  Fear invites all types of EVIL into your life.  Ask Job (Job 3:25). It’s NOT your Father’s plan for you. Meditating or thinking about the truths in God’s word will dislodge and dissolve fear-filled thoughts -replacing them with new thoughts and reality of FREEDOM, SAFETY, and SECURITY.  Nope – we’re not making this up. That’s what our Lord Jesus says in John 15:7.
