Isolation ≠ seclusion. In isolation, fear is loud; in seclusion, God is heard. Where are you standing in this season of uncertainty: behind the closed doors of fear or in the waiting room of God's sovereignty? As with the disciples, God can change our lives in one visit, but He needs a private moment with us first. Make room for seclusion and God will intercede!

Written for students, this plan journeys through the book of Acts in 28 days, focusing on the incredible early days of the Church and the first apostles. Each day we will read a chapter and then reflect on what we read using four guiding questions. Let's learn about the uncontainable power of the Church of Jesus together!

(Part one of a four part journey through the Books of Acts.) Even in (and especially in?) hard times, God is present and is working to build His Church. We can find encouragement in this. When circumstances force us to pivot, we don’t have to lose heart - God is with us.

To build others up is to encourage them, give support, instill confidence, or even share hope. Throughout scripture, we see the exhortation to ‘encourage one another.’ In this next week, we explore what it means to encourage one another and how we can live a life that builds others up. We will also end the week with a three-day dive into 1 Thessalonians 5:11.
