Pride

Humility is the posture that hosts God’s presence. Pride builds walls, but humility opens doors. God cannot dwell in a heart that is full of self-importance, but He delights to rest on those who know their dependence on Him. The humble don’t think less of themselves — they think of themselves less and of God more.

Practical Application:
• Begin your day by acknowledging: “Lord, without You I can do nothing.”
• Listen more than you speak; humility has quiet strength.
• Give others credit and celebrate their success.
