40 Days to Awaken Your Sober Mindనమూనా

Ok, you know the cycle: Should I drink tonight? Maybe just one. But I’ve been good. I deserve it. Or maybe I shouldn’t. Sound familiar?
That back-and-forth causes decision fatigue, and it’s exhausting. In every area of life, we have so many choices and daily decisions to make!
Jesus doesn’t invite you into a heavier burden; instead, He offers rest. James tells us that indecision creates instability. When we live in doubt, we may be operating from a place of fear or unbelief, and that causes resistance. Good news, y’all, we have spiritual authority to interrupt negative thought loops and hand them over to Jesus. He doesn’t condemn us for our human tendencies to rely on what we see. But instead, He offers another way. It’s not through our willpower but our willingness to focus on Him in the storm. When we fix our eyes on Him, there is a calm to the restlessness and a peace that renews us.
Pre-deciding frees up your energy to live, love, and lead without the mental tug-of-war.
So what if, instead of vacillating every day, you made one clear choice! A loving, wise, firm decision that brings you peace!
Prayer:
Jesus, I’m tired of second-guessing. Help me rest in clear, loving choices. I trust You to lead me with peace and clarity. I want to make a decision today to keep my eyes fixed on You and Your Promises.
Journal Prompt:
What would it feel like to make one decision about alcohol for the next 30 days? What would that free up in your mind?
