Y - Yield
The final step in the Lightgliders P.R.A.Y. model is to Yield. To yield means to submit or surrender. Just because you have said the word “Amen” or the prayer video is over does not mean the conversation has to end. It could just be the beginning! So take time to yield to additional prayer and reflection. What has been stirred in your heart? What thoughts or ideas has God given you during this time? What new praises, gratitudes, laments, or intercessions come to mind? Yield to each and every one of them and connect more deeply with your God, Savior, and King! The Scriptures say that our prayers are incense unto God.
Here are some things to do and think about today:
- Read Revelation 5:8 and Ephesians 2:8
- Watch the prayer video, The Free Gift.
- What is grace?
- Spend a few minutes today turning each of your thoughts into conversations with God.
