Have you ever been shown forgiveness when you didn’t deserve it? Something about being shown grace and kindness when you mess up leaves an impact.

And we all know because we’ve all messed up… big time! The reality is we probably deserve a punishment far greater than we can imagine. But God, in God’s goodness, paved the way for us to experience the ultimate forgiveness for every wrong thing we’ve ever done. This comes from Jesus’ death on the cross.

When we talk about advocating for the mistreated, we must remember Jesus advocating for us on the cross. The Church is filled with broken people, and you’re one of them. But thank God that God still uses each of us to advance God’s kingdom.

Today, reflect on Jesus’ death on the cross and thank God for the forgiveness it affords us all.
