I Resurrect You From the Darkness

What did you hear when you prayed? We heard Holy Spirit whisper, “I am the night sky. And I am the rain. I am the dirt and the rushing river. I am the light and bring light to the darkness. I make all things. And all is good if I have made it.

"I dance with you. And I cry with you. I resurrect you from the darkness, the brokenness, the shallow places where you stand. I help you go deeper and wider in the love that sustains you and makes you whole.”

What does this mean to you, in your experience? For instance, when you picture the night sky, what do you see? Is it beauty? Mystery? Quiet? Pain?

What about “the rain”? What about “dirt” and the “rushing river”? What is he saying to you? What do these images represent?

Spend a few minutes in God’s presence. Give him your imagination, your thoughts, your questions.
