How do you quantify love? According to Jesus, those who have been forgiven much love much while those who have been forgiven less, love less. A woman who lived a flagrantly sinful life came uninvited to a dinner Jesus was at and anointed him with her tears and then with expensive perfume. This woman knew that she stood in the presence of divinity and that only He could know about her and forgive her for everything. Knowing His forgiveness moved her to a greater devotion and self-sacrificing generosity. Nothing else could have moved her to so great an extent that she would worship Him with such abandon.
