Have you ever felt left out? Maybe you weren't invited to a party or cut from a team, play, or musical group. Being left out can be crushing because we all want to feel included, loved, and seen. What if I told you about a kingdom that includes everyone, no matter what? Interested? Keep reading!

When you read about the life of Jesus, you see that people were consistently trying to trick him into saying something that would cause some to be left out. Yet, in this story Jesus tells, we discover there is a place for everyone to belong; he is talking about God's kingdom. Not only is there a place for everyone in God's kingdom, but there is rejoicing when someone arrives. From reading today's scripture, we know that we will have a seat, but others will also have a place in God's kingdom. There is room for everyone to have a place at the table in God's kingdom.
